“Transitional Living Services, Inc. started working with Coakley Brothers after acquiring furniture through a donation from Grant Thomas. Coakley Brothers created an as-built drawing of our space and worked with us to create a variety of workstations, from private offices with wall-tracked workstations all the way down to cubicles for our case workers. Mary, Katie, and Fred were instrumental in assessing the needs of each employee and the restrictions of each room to ensure that each office was compatible with the user. Since our furniture has been replaced with the donated items we have found there is more flexibility throughout our office, we have increased our productivity and even had room for growth within our organization.”

Office Space − Planning & Design

Whether companies relocate or reconfigure, use existing furniture or purchase new, our Office Space − Planning & Design professionals recommend economical, practical and creative ways to develop the work environment your company needs and desires.

Coakley Brothers uses industry standard design and specification programs including: AutoCAD (2008), CAP Studio, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.

Planning or Redesign Services

After spending time with you to determine your specific needs, we create drawings addressing the requirements of the project or area of your facility. We take into consideration each person or departmental job function, understanding how employees interact with each another and how departments relate to one another. We also assess your common use areas, such as filing rooms, equipment areas or lounge areas. In addition, we’ll take in consideration any plans you may have for future expansion.

Development of Installation Drawings

Once you approve the plan, we give you complete, detailed installation drawings. In the event that your project is being managed or coordinated by an architectural firm or another design service that lacks the ability to provide adequate installation documents, Coakley Brothers will create them for you.

Project Management

The most important person in an office space planning or reconfiguration is the project manager. They are the glue that hold projects together. Coakley Brothers’ project managers possess a wealth of knowledge about different office furniture systems and how they work together. They prove particularly valuable on challenging or unusual moves because of their expertise and experience.
Internally, Coakley Brothers’ project managers work with our sales and operations departments to schedule and estimate your move accurately. On the job, your project manager will be in contact with the client as needed, and they can also work with construction teams, subcontractors, IT personnel and other parties to ensure that your project runs smoothly. Their jobs are to solve problems, and better yet, to help you avoid them altogether.

System Furniture Inventory Services

Partner with Coakley Brothers for systems furniture inventory and you’ll always know what you have and where it is. Whether you use freestanding or systems, Coakley Brothers will maintain a detailed, up-to-date list of your assets. And every time a change is made in systems furniture, we’ll update your drawings so reconfigurations are quick and efficient to do. We can make sure current as-built drawings are created every time there is a change to your facilities. Running out of space or just have too much to manage? Coakley Brothers provides secure and efficient storage of your furniture pool if needed – please see warehouse inventory management section.
